My name is Gloria Farmer, and I live in the Arlington Texas area where I've been since 1992. Taking care of children has always been my passion as well as allowing children to grow, explore, and learn. These years have been a rewarding experience, and keeps me excited as I continue to care for the children of all ages. For 20 years I have owned an in-home family daycare business in Arlington Texas. This has created me the opportunity to spend time
with family and my own children. Learning through exploration, art, reading, nature, and outdoors observation offer children a rich experience.Nurturing each child's interest to help them become strong solid individuals who respects themselves. Working at Pleasant Place Childcare has been a wonderful experience and it has provided me with lots of opportunities all thanks to God. In 2017 I became a Texas Rising Star four star provider with my home business. In 2018 1 received my CDA Credential, and shortly after, l went from being a registered Child Child Care Home to an licensed Child Care Home and received my directors credential. l am honored to have taken care of the children I've met, and have had positive impacts on their lives. The varieties of families that request Pleasant Place Childcare service, is exponentially growing each day along with my my passion for children, this is what makes my career so interesting and fun. |
